I built the kit pretty much from the box. I only added new blade antennas and nose gear doors from plastic card. Paints are Tamiya spray bomb white and silver leaf.

Swissair ordered a DC-9 tailored to their needs called the DC-9-51. Until delivery of these aircraft, Swissair leased four DC-9-41 from SAS.
